Hold it!

Word on the street is that the property is delayed to Q4 2018 or Q1 2019.

But then again, if this was asia, it'll be ready next month !

There`s a video on YouTube of a 15-story hotel in China being built in 6 days.
The 102-story Empire State Building was built in 1 year and 45 days.

... or anything in Austria! I'm starting international travel this year and can't help notice the lack of Hyatts overseas.

However, it sounds like Hyatt is doing quite well and hope they continue to expand. I saw them on CNBC the other day:

As if next month, this is not Dubai or China

Andaz Amsterdam is opening late this year.

Park Hyatt Vienna was announced last year.

. . . and if you want to see what will happen when the next earthquake hits the region, play it accelerated and in reverse . I'm happy to wait for Swiss-quality construction, thank you.

It could be that the Hyatt ZRH project is part of a larger development that will take so long (for example as the 4 points Zurich Sihl City is part of a larger complex).

HR Zurich. Airport the Circle REVIEW MASTER THREAD

There are 2 new Hyatts coming to Zurich Switzerland, to be exact, at Zurich Airport, "The Circle":
The Hyatt Regency will offer 250 rooms and cater to business and leisure clients. Centrally located and accessible from the main square, it will rise over 11 stories. Alongside classic King and Twin bedrooms, the hotel will include numerous Regency Suites, a Regency Executive Suite and a Presidential Suite, as well as a Regency Club Lounge with its own terrace. The big lobby, including an entrance level bar and restaurant, will become the place to meet at Zurich airport.

The Hyatt Place is a nine storey, 300 room designer hotel with selected services located at the North Plaza. Alongside the entry level lobby will be a bar, an open food market with made-to-order meals and snacks available around the clock.

The Circle is planned to open in 2018.

looking forward to this!

It was reported here as well http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hyatt...l#post24031278 with a reference to an older Hyatt News Report in the post below.

Expected to be open in 2017 according to the news report ...

A little bit surprised at least one of the hotels isn't somewhere in the city. Would be nice to have a Hyatt version of Starwood's Four Points Sihlcity.
