And no one will mind if you walk around and come back in the evening with your ticket to claim the bags.

Yes, in addition to point earning, the food at Oak Door, Keiyakizaka, Shunbou, Roku Roku, or Fiorentina would make for a very nice lunch. Enjoy

Is the DSU room a grand suite king? Can I email them directly to apply a DSU? (I've done this for GH Taipei).

No. DSU room is Grand Executive Twin/King.

DSU is Grand Exec Suite Twin, Grand Exec Suite King, or Diplomatic Suite.
