I sent an email to Gold Passport Customer Service requesting points for an Avis rental I recently had in November, asking if they would like me to fax the rental agreement in. In short, they told me to take it up with Avis. Looks like I'll have to go through another layer to get my 300 pts, wondering if it's even worth it or not.

Update

3 (yes 3, not 4) posted to SPG on Feb 9. (150 SPG points each). Nothing yet on goldpassport.com

Looks like I'll be adding my SPG number from now on. 3 out of 4 is better than 0 out of 4.
