Ahh...you should have done a search for Kouign Amann which has a cult following at the PH Vendome...and it's own Facebook Page.

If the answer isn't a Park Hyatt, I'd be surprised. PH Place Vendôme would be a leading candidate. The quality of food and display at the PH Tokyo is very impressive. The view from the PH Sydney is iconic with quality to match.

In terms of US hotels, the two NY Andaz locations have quite nice breakfasts and the Highlands Inn has a few very nice variations on eggs benedict, also with a view on certain days that can't be beat.

Andaz West Hollywood - breakfast served in RH. One choice is foie gras and toast points with your egg

Andaz Wall Street - breakfast served in Wall + Water; buffet includes items such as shrimp plus hot egg dishes made to order

The breakfast that I got at PH Paris was the best breakfast I've ever gotten at a hotel. Very fresh fruit, wonderful presentation, and just very tasty :D

I'll be at the PH Tokyo in January, so I'm excited to see what they offer.

Some (many) might consider this showing off, especially with the place setting just for one.

Imagine what the table would look like for more than two people. I've seen a few people say that they've gotten breakfast for their children, or people staying under their name, but in a different room.

PH Washingto DC and PH Melbourne.

PH Tokyo breakfast is pretty much what you're served daily in heaven.

Mrs. BBFD and I were pretty impressed with NoMi at the PH Chicago. The Maine lobster benedict and blue crab omelets are pretty tasty.
