The Zurich Park Hyat has the best elite breakfast option I have ever experienced at a hotel. A Diamond member has the choice to have the buffet, but my prefernece is to have breakfast in the form of room service where one can order the Farmers breakfast which is actually enough food for two people. The best part of this is that the breakfast can be ordered all day long, and this is quite useful when one overlseeps until 14:00 due to jetlag.:D

My vote goes to PH Beijing, with PH Dubai being the runner up.
Both PH Zurich and Andaz 5th Ave were nice, but not as good IMO. I can not speak to PH Vendome. |

Park Hyatt Hamburg and their Apples restaurant are also on the very front of breakfast excellence. Both top the PH Vendome.

Park Hyatt Sydney, only problem is they limit you to $90 each for breakfast:eek:

PH Chicago
in room breakfast is my favorite!
We only ate breakfast in the dining room at the PH Paris and while it was good, I'm not a huge fan of buffets. |
ANY breakfast that is served to me is my favourite :)
But, Park Hyatt Sydney and Milan stand out in my mind. |
PH Vendome. Just this morning, actually. Let me repeat: PH Vendome. Once again: PH Vendome. Next on the list, PH Tokyo. But the winner, no contest, is the PH Vendome. Did I mention to you that the best Diamond breakfast is the PH Vendome?
At the very least, you have to admit that it is the biggest bang for the buck for being a Diamond. 48 Euros for breakfast, anyone? |
perfect, absurd moments....
for grandeur: park hyatt paris, absolutely.... room-service breakfast, a cup of rich coffee on your balcony, looking down rue de la paix to place vendome, and paris waking up... all gold and summer sunlight. for charm: eastway at the andaz london, on a weekend... & i'm a sucker for it... feels like brunch back home in new york. and also: a window-table at nomi, at the park hyatt chicago. wonderful teas, & the lake in the distance. (just don't mention the u.s. regencys that still struggle with the art of cooking pancakes...) + such moments, i think, are the ones that keep me coming back to hyatt. |

Actually, my "Best Diamond Breakfast" was at the Andaz Fifth Ave. First time I've ever had room service. I'm vegetarian, so breakfast isn't ever a big deal. (Heck, I don't even have taste buds anymore.) Nice room, good service, my music playing (instead of "restaurant music") and all that. |
