Best properties to use FFN
Being new to Hyatt, which are the best properties to use your FFN for best values?
|
In general - any Park Hyatt, resorts, and select other hotels. My personal favorites are: PH Vendome (Paris), PH Milan, PH Zurich, PH Tokyo, PH Washington DC, GH Kauai. There other hotels FT members swear by but I didn't have a chance to visit them (yet).
|
also check PH Sydney, PH Hamburg.

I know PH Sydney provide Harbour view king as award rooms. They rarely sell "city view" (read no view) which is amazing value for the property with the highest average room rate in Sydney. Combined with a Diamond Upgrade it would make for an amazing NYE.

But if you pull up the list of rooms from the hotel homepage, it lists a "Park King" which I assume is the base room overlooking the back of the hotel with terrible views. I'm surprised they don't make those available for award stays.

There are very few of those rooms - so maybe they'll never assign one to Diamonds?
