Scavenger Hunt: Cheapest non-mistake online room rate anywehere, anytime

Turns out my idea is for naught, but feel free to post anyway

Ok, for reasons I'd rather not go into (yet) , I'm wondering if anyone can point me to a sub $19 bookable room online, anytime, anyplace in the US.

It can be a 1* shared dormitory room in a 6 bed hostel in Minnesota in February. ;-) It just needs to be bookable online through any of the major online booking engines.

I found a few around $23... but looking to drive it lower.

I'll share reasons later, once I have my lowest price and some confirming information.

Just look back at chokdee's, MightyTravels's and tymoon25's posts, and watch them going forward, on this board.

I am intrigued by what you might be scheming, $21 in SF on a random Tuesday in February.

I think the above post is the winner, and it is even a shared dormitory in a 6 bed room, except it is not Minnesota in Feb. Vegas anytime if year is not bad.

You do know Bangkok isn't part of the US?

Also there is a single room for $7 on that page.

Great finds... but no go on my plan.

Wow...... those must be some "interesting" places to stay!

Don't want to spoil the fun, so feel free to continue post for pure entertainment.... but it turns our my idea was already well covered (bad searching on my part), and will not work below a minimum price.

On the other hand, just the idea of booking a $7 hotel room in Thailand for a co-worker (or the boss) and just leaving a confirmation "accidentally" on the common printer seems like great, cheap entertainment.
