Hotel Tonight is offering a $56 credit (40 Euros) for Free when you sign up for a new account and enter promo code ITALIA. Select Italy as your country on the form.

After downloading the free app (iOS or Android), sign into your account to see the credit (which expires in one year) and change to U.S. currency in the Account menu.

I just saw this on Bensbargains and didn't see anything on Flytertalk after a search so wanted to share with you guys.

Also, if you feel like being a bit of a jerk...

The website does not seem to be tracking IP numbers so you can just go ahead and sign up with a stack of email addresses and you will get the credit for all of them.

i am always getting "not valid for usd account", changing currency does not help. any idea?

Created new account. But forgot (not enough caffeine yet) to add promo code on the website. Signed in on the app. Added promo code "April" to the account. Credit showed up immediately. Changed currency to USD and now have $56 credit! Thanks op!

Maybe if your name is Steve smith that will work ok, but if you've got a unique name like metta world peace, would seem like you creating a handful of accounts might not work out so well.

use http://www.hoteltonight.com/customers/new to register (select country UK) and then log in from cell it's working, it's GBP 30 or USD 50

They will match the lower prices... So book on ht with these credits and then contact ht about how the rate you booked is lower and they will give you more credits.

Thanks for the note; but you'll be hard-pressed to explain how it beats simply booking on the other site LOL, and just keeping the $56 credit at HT. btw, is there a referral credit that could be had by say, spousal account, in addition to $56 toward your own? And are all credits have 1 year usable life?
