bizydeal: 50% off 12-pack gift cards for hotels
I did search for bizydeals- didn't see this: 1200 value for 600 for all major brands once u buy card go online do search enter code and it deducts 100 off which you then pay w/cc.Looks like this is tied in w/expedia. Card expires 3/31/2012. about 1 day 8 hrs left to buy this. Did sample search and quite a few hotels-didn't see anything about not getng miles/points with this. Also this is thru 3rd party site so if you see a Hyatt for example, I don't think they credit you miles/pts if you book thru this; it might be best for boutique/independent hotels.

youll eventually find out that it is not such a good deal, in my opinion a pretty poor one.
It requires 2 nights, so you essentially get $50 off 2 night stay, and you have to pay a fee of $10, so net discount is $40, and not to mention that the prices are a bit inflated, hence no discount at all... You will come a little ahead when you factor in cashback and/or coupons, but don't forget that you earn no points with the hotel chain that you will be staying at. So not such a good deal in my book.... Marriott 10% off gift card promo is way better in my book. |
I want to like hotelclub.com, but I'm having a hard time with it because they don't have any hotels (at least that I found) under 75.00 a night. That seriously limits your choices.
But, if I were already planning on staying at a 75+ hotel and didn't care about the points, the prices I checked were equal to what you find through Kayak. So, a good deal I think, if you know where you're going already, the hotel is actualy listed on hotelclub, and the hotel is over 75 a night. |
I didn't know that much about them, but I just saw the offer today and decided to post it hoping maybe you guys maybe knew about it via other offers or experiences. That's where FT benefits. I certainly wouldn"t shell out 600$ unless like previously stated, you knew of certain prop's where it would benefit you. Oh well..:(

you guys are right.
but again the most important - is that you get no points with the hotel you are staying with. Granted it is a very good deal in foreign countries where hotels are somewhat cheaper and more luxurious.... Thailand and India comes to mind... nonetheless when combined with a coupon it is ok deal... I'd however be more interested in travelamerica deals, where you can get $1000 marriott gift card for $800, whereby youpractically get 20% off future stay, no strings attached(no min nights, get credit and points for the room) plus all the bennies and are FULLY flexible... so for those that have rock solid plans and cant cancel this is a good deal... for mattress runners/status earners this is a poor value... |
