If I want to search by airport, I still use the old MVP site, stay.hilton.com/mvp. It still recognizes the airport codes. I then hit modify, uncheck MVP, and check the AARP box (my new discount). The individual hotel pages are still the big bulky things, but at least I can search by distance from the airport.

Sure. So these work best if you login to Hilton on the new design, then use these URLs:
To get the old search screen:
https://hiltonhonors3.hilton.com/en_...tels/index.htm
This will then show up the new "names and map" screen (incidentally, if someone is new to Hilton brands they really have nothing to go by at this point). Just enter this URL straight away to convert back to the old selection screen: You can successfully enter this URL even while the map is loading if you are on slow broadband (e.g. inside some Hiltons!), just so long as the list of hotel suggestions is coming through. Note that the airport codes (DCA, LGW, FCO) still work on this one:
https://hiltonhonors3.hilton.com/en_....htm?view=LIST
Then to get a list of your existing reservations:
https://secure3.hilton.com/en/hh/cus...servations.htm

Website unable to book rooms since yesterday
Since yesterday, I can get up to the points of booking rooms, but when I select the room, I get an error page:
IT'S NOT YOU, IT'S ME.
We're sorry, something went wrong. For customer service or reservations, please call one of these numbers.
I'm trying to book via an affiliate site (I start at the affiliate site, click its link to go to Hilton's site, then book as usual, for extra points in the affiliate's program as well as all normal Hilton benefits) or else I'd call to make the booking.

Now they have changed the display of the upcoming stays to most recent last. That means if you have a lot of stays that you will have to scroll through many pages to find your next stay. How stupid can they get? Obviously I should not ask that question. Any person with an ounce of intelligence knows that when you log in, you want to see your next upcoming stay, not the one that is furtherest into the future.

At last, something nice to say about the God-awful new website...
I no longer have to go through trial-by-Captcha to get into the site. My days of counting fire hydrants are over.
There you go: something positive
