With Gold, Internet on multiple devices

Sorry, I don't know how to search this. I know that Hiltons give Gold members an Internet login; can it be used on multiple devices?

With Gold, Internet on multiple devices

I've tried to do my homework on this but I still can't find a definate answer...

As a Gold, on a Travel Agent booking, do I still get free internet.. Not bothered about upgrade but I am about Internet connection..

Is it up to hotels discretion?

cblaisd Dec 24, 2012 10:13 am

If you're Gold you get free internet. Period.

Doest it mean you can purchase selected package on all devices and not being charged at all? I thought it is one device only and someone here complained some time ago that he was in fact charged for the 2nd device.

Perhaps they changed something?

Hi,

IIRC in my last stay at the Hilton Budapest W/E, when signing for internet, in the webpage it was mentioned somewhere that was valid for two devices but I did not try it.
I do not remember seeing it in another properties.

On my last few stays:
* Hilton Antwerp: no limit mentioned, and successfully connected 3 devices.
* Hilton Köln: reception mentioned that the code was limited to 2 devices only. (I didn't try to connect 3.)

Has anyone actually been CHARGED for a third or more device? The T&Cs are pretty clear:

Complimentary high-speed internet access in Member's room.
Pretty hard to argue, as long as you don't leave the room ;)

It really depends on the property. Some give out a unique code which can only be used on one or two devices (and refuse to give additional codes stating that the official policy is Internet access for 2 devices). The Trafalgar Hilton in London is one of those properties. But most properties that I visited allow as many devices as one wishes.

Wifi access is provided - it's independent of the device you're using as long as you can browse to the webpage where you have to accept their terms and conditions, if they have it.

I think you'll be fine.

Same as my experience. Run into few properties allows only one or two devices.

Likely hotel will give you another code for more devices or bring a travel router to help.
