slightly OT? do these points re-up the account from expiry?
the 2500 posted for me today - haven't had any other recent activity and no stays planned as of now - does anyone know if this activity would re-up the account from expiry for 12 months? The website says a hotel stay or points earned from third party (as well as purchase points) - the 2500 isn't third party, it's HHonors itself, so technically it sounds like it wouldn't qualify but I was wondering if any one knew if practically it would be fine?

Yes, it does extend your expiration.
