Question About HHonors Points
Fellow FlyerTalkers,
My wife stayed @ a Hilton in Oklahoma in April 2000, and was not a member of HHonors, but did earn 500 TWA miles. It wasn't a 50% off Rate that she had.
Is it possible for her to get HHonors Points for this April 2000 stay?
My thanks in advance for your feedback and help.

Retroactive Credit - Pleasantly Surprised
I have recently enrolled in HH, but eight weeks prior, stayed at an Embassy Suites. Searched and read some earlier posts on retro credit being limited to 30 days. I sent an e-mail to find out, and got a quick response that said there is a 12 month period for claiming points and miles (or back to April 2000 for the new properties).

Retroactive credit for stays
I recently joined HHonors and have noted that I need 4 stays in a calendar year to earn Silver VIP status. Does anyone have experience of having stays undertaken before joining the programme, but within the calendar year, credited to obtain higher status?

ivanb -- You can skip Silver and receive instant Gold status by calling HHonors and quoting the EWRDC promotion.

Hi,
Yes it is probably too late. I think for new members they will alow a stay up to 1 month prior to joining abd for existing members, 6 months after a stay.

Howdy,
I'd waste the minute to make the phone call personally. I've found HHonors people to be very accomodating. I wouldn't expect they'd do it, seems like a very long time ... but can't hurt to ask.

Wait a second... don't call them, enter your info online and I pretty much guarantee that you'll get the points...
I just started staying predominantly at HH properties in Dec-2001... just a few weeks ago I found some old Hampton Inn receipts and submitted them... within a few weeks they posted to my account... The stays were from May and August 2001.
