Sometimes you book by specific model and sometimes you book by class.

If a specific location doesn't normally carry the specific model you're looking for, it won't be listed on the site. That doesn't mean they may not get one as a return that would be available when you get there. For example, MCI has almost no selection in the system -- no prestige, fun, or green cars even though it's a massive facility.

Many of the cars have changed to generic descriptions that sometimes make no sense.. Like a Luxury Sedan for $279/day that turns out to be a S80 with the A8 going for $120 in the same market :)

If you make the reservation online and then call the Hertz customer service they can call the location and find out what car it really is. This is the only way to do it sometimes.

Thanks for your help! Shame that I didnt book the A8 early enouhg, it was available when I first looked back in around April last year, went to book the car in May and it was sold out. They really should have more A8's!

Well the Audi A6 is defaintely back, new pictures and now showing on my reservation, changed it back from the Volvo

BUT

Now the Landrover is gone :(
