AAA CDP?
Anyone know what the AAA CDP # is? Someone posted prior that it's your member #, but the res system doesn't like that.
Thanks,

Use the AAA club code printed on the card, For example: 005 for CSAA.

The AAA number is the club code on the card. Call your local AAA to obtain it. If you are not a part of AAA, i suggest joining it. It's well worth the $50.

Also check your club's website for coupons. I just found a coupon for $15 off weekend rentals, in addition to the usual discount, that does not have the usual three day minimum! I'm getting some cheap rentals the next few weekends with that!

Southern California Club Code is 004. If you have Gold service, they never ask to see your card.

The "generic" AAA CDP# is 1. Yep, 1. I only know this because I was playing around on the Hertz Web site once and I was curious to see what 1 was.

1 is not a generic code, it's the new code for the metro DC club. At least that is what it says on my new card---the old card has a different number.

The magazine from your club also comes with coupons. Always check it for the Hertz coupons before throwing it out.

The AAA Texas Hertz CDP # is 000252. The Hertz website is promoting a discount of $15 off a weekend rental of at least 3 days for AAA if you use PC# 919671.
BTW, I have noticed that PC#'s must match the associated CDP# in order of the coupon to be good at that rate.

Thanks for the info: I got a great deal at ORD for this weekend.
By the way, I gave up trying on hertz.com, and called an spoke to someone who was able to help me. They told me I need to show my AAA card when I pick up the car.
Also, as a AAA member, you get the GPS for $5 per day ($1 per day off.)

I have never been asked to show my AAA card anywhere except for the free AAA maps at AAA (and sometimes they dont ask for it there either).
