Fun times in the Sarre yesterday during the light snow event, with the road treatment and clearing crews on strike and remaining workers overloaded with accidents. https://www.nonstopnews.de/meldung/43170 You learn to get used to it. |

Stuck in Frankfurt, after flying HKG-DOH-FRA. Had booked a train from Frankfurt to Paris, which got cancelled. Today's flights to Paris are $$$
At least I was able to get rebooked for Saturday's early morning train to Paris. (and I thought only the French go on strike lol) |
In reality, the Germans strike at least as often, if not more often, than the French.
The difference is, with the syndicats/trade unions, it's often by province instead of the whole country as that is how many wage negotiations and syndicats are structured, although in this case with the GDL, it is country-wide. |
Your disdain of Germany means you usually report wrong information and lies.
Average days not worked due to strike in France over 2020-2022 : 79.1 days Average days not worked due to strike in Germany over 2020-2022 : 17.8 days https://www.etui.org/strikes-map |
Emm. Can we calm down the rhetoric on this one..?
