Octoberfest
 

I would like to travel to Germany for a few days this year during Octoberfest; can someone give me some options??

What is the best city?? Is Octberfest during the whole month of October, or does it start late Sept???

I think you need to start with Google to get the basics.

Oktoberfest is in Munich, and actually takes place mostly during September.

I think we will be able to help you better if you check out some other sites to get an overview of the festival, and come back here once you have some more specific questions.

Oktoberfest in Munich might be the biggest and only famous one outside of germany, but there are at least a couple of others all over germany, like the Cannstädter Wasn or the Oktoberfest in Hannover, that all take place in late september and early october.

You can check out at Kirmesforum.de, when these events will start.

If you like this kind of "entertainment" then I suggest to try a Schützenfest in a small village in the countryside as well.

Then you really know what germany is all about ... ;) :D
