Didn't this happen to a Midwest plane in LGA a few years ago? I forget the problem but the plane had to stay over night and nothing toxic was found. Probably someones luggage that had some type of non toxic powder (cake mix!?!) in it broke open.

Looks like it is a A319 on what was supposed to be Flight 479 with service to Las Vegas. The plane arrived from PHX into MKE at 2:50.

Hope the powder is harmless, if not props to whoever discovered it before takeoff.

The problem turned out to be the very hazardous substance......talcum powder.

The plane was put back into service.
