LOL...I made whole bunch, not so much for sentimental reasons but for chunks of information I don't want to lose. It will be odd to see it go, of course. But I remember when this major redesign came out and I didn't like the look and feel at first, but not long after I forgot about what the old design looked like.

+1

Many of the old pages have already been deleted from the Midwest site, redirecting one to the Frontier website.

Of course this is not just a redesign but an end of the brand. But eventually I'll know where everything is on the F9 site, too.

Yes, I should have saved the Midwest Airlines napkins I had on my F9 flight after the October 1 integration. :(

knope2001 Oct 27, 2010 5:00 am

You might still be okay....the napkins have been Frontier on one side and Midwest on the other for quite a few months, and they'll almost certainly just keep using them until they're used up. So it wouldn's surprise me to still see those napkins for awhile yet.

Oh, I didn't notice that. Thanks for sharing, next time I'll look for them when they pass out the one cookie on the next F9 flight.

Too bad the ability to log-in to Frontier with either your YX e-mail address or YX frequent flyer number is not functioning.

Knope mentioned this before but I wanted to reiterate it so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle.

Frequent Flyer Program Merger Update

One of the final stages in the integration of Midwest and Frontier Airlines is the merger of the Midwest Miles and EarlyReturns frequent flyer programs. We'll be completing this work October 28-30.

During that time, you can continue to book reservations. However, some frequent flyer program-related functions will be unavailable. Members will not be able to log in to their frequent flyer accounts to check their account balance, edit their profile, print a membership card or book award travel.

Beginning Oct. 31, you will be able to perform all of these functions on FrontierAirlines.com. Simply access your account using the same login and password you currently use. At that time, elite status will also begin to display accurately online and in your reservations for those who have achieved that level.

If you have both a Midwest Miles account and an EarlyReturns account, your accounts will be merged in full by the end of November. At that time, you'll be notified which account number you should use going forward. In the meantime, you can continue to use either account number.

Itinerary for MKE-FLL shows

Departing Time:07:07 AM Flight No: YX 1792
Arrival Time:11:07 AM Operated By:Chautauqua Airlines
This flight previously was Midwest, operated by Republic.

Is this what is says for an intin you had previously booked?

Or is it what you see when you are pricing/shopping? (And if so, what days?)

I'm guessing it's a descriptive error as MKE-FLL is normally an E190 which has to be Republic...Chautauqua would be E145. I have shopped a bunch of MKE-FLL and keep finding all E190s.

I noticed that change about a month ago. I really didn't give it much thought, as it is all part of the Republic family. You know as well as I do, that the E190 is used on that route.

I just checked by clicking on the flight number when shopping for flights. It now says Republic Airlines.

The info is on an actual itinerary booked months and months ago with Midwest.

If just searching for a flight on this route, the flight info says operated by Republic.
