Good thing they didn't promote it yet. A work friend just came in on an E170 the other day and loved Stretch, but said there was no word of WiFi yet.

Bummer. At least I won't be tempted to work on my flights home for the holidays.

The WiFi installation has been going on for some time now. A 190 was just completed in MKE last week. No idea when it will be turned on but I think they are doing some testing in CMH at the end of this week. I don't know how many aircraft are already done but some of the 170's were being done at the same time as the new seat installations.

Thanks for the update!

Hmm..every airline has a slightly different logo. I assume the paw/claw is a tie in to the whole-different-animal thrust.

It's interesting to see a pretty impressive list of airlines with gogo, but when you click on them nearly all except for FL, DL and VA have large chunks of their mainline fleet either "coming soon" or simply not listed. For example United just shows the 757 in PS configuration, and USAirways shows just the A321...neither has any additional aircraft listed as "coming soon".

If Frontier sticks with the just TV on Airbus and just WiFi on EJets, it will have plenty of company among airlines with differing offerings among their main fleet.

Tweet from @FrontierCare, regarding availability of Wi-Fi :

We are working on it and hoping to activate it on some aircrafts in June.

Tweet this morning from @FrontierCare in reply to whether Frontier offers Wi-Fi:

Yes, we offer it on our E170 and E190 aircrafts.
Has the Wi-Fi actually been activated on some aircraft? Is the plan to still offer Wi-Fi on the disappearing E170s?

I doubt they'll put it on the 170s but I havvent seen an announcement that it has been turned on at all yet.
