The Sud on Rue Grenelle is closed and so is the one in the 16th, by La Muette.

7ème Sud on rue de Grenelle closed a year or so ago and was replaced by Alain Milliat.

You'd know, you pass by it often enough from what I gather.

Not me - but I did hit a McDonalds when the kids came over with me for a week a couple of months ago. :D

Anahuacalli (5th)

Best margaritas and chili rellenos I've ever tasted. We go there every trip.
Hey, don't we all go to Paris for Mexican? :D

It was recommended before in this thread, but I'll say it again.

Go to Au Petit Sud Ouest. Their duck breast is fantastic.

This year I also have reservations for L'Ange 20 Restaurant and Les Papilles, but I have not eaten at either yet.

I tried to get to Les Papilles as several aquaintances spoke highly of it but couldn't get my schedule to jive with their hours. Please report back after your visit as I'm curious to see what you think of the place.

Anybody have any good budget options? Like <30 euro pp? Will be there soon and can't afford to break the bank on more than a couple expensive meals, unfortunately. Will be staying in the Latin Quarter but will eat anywhere that's good.

I really like l'Eglantine at 9 rue de la Verrerie in the 4th (Marais district), you should be able to find plenty to eat there for that price.

Moderately priced near Luxembourg Gardens is Le Rousseau, which we enjoyed for a moderately priced bistro.

Not sure if you can spend less than 30.

But in the Luxembourg area you can find lots of places that serve good food for moderate prices. Or you could have the prix fix menu for lunch and something light for dinner.

Pretty close. I just checked a post from my December LH/Paris TR...
For the two of us... all you can eat steak/frites, salad, a half bottle of the house red plus another extra glass, including tax and service was only 65.80 euros.
