Points purchased from Finnair Store still hasn't posted HELP
 
Purchased Finnair Plus points worth $3,000 five days ago just in time with the running miles bonus, and up 'til now I have not been able to receive my points even after being issued a receipt by Points.com. I've done everything from an email, to an international phone call to their support centers for both Points.com and Finnair but no one is able to help/completely not responsive at all. I'm worried they might not be able to sort this out in time to make it within the promo period. Any resolutions?

I feel you, but Finnair is going to make this right to you if it´s simply a technical glitch. Not a single person of authority is working at Finnair at the moment. Wait until tommorow (last day of promo) and it will get sorted. Do not lose your sleep over this. Your money isn´t gone.

Managed to reach their hotline just now. The agent (who sounded so disengaged) told me that she couldn't see any of my purchase on their back end and cannot do anything about it. Wasn't even apologetic. She said there weren't any transaction forwarded to them when I clearly was already debited and a receipt was issued

Did you get any replay from Finnair or the points has been credited?

I didn't. Still dont have any response nor the points on my account. Trying to reach out to them again but the hotline is busy. Getting really worried here.

Why is everyone in such a rush to get them? If you paid for them, they will post.

From my understanding the tier points follow your tracking period and not the calendar year. So you can always do the transfer from award points to tier points after the new year and still get status. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

Not quite sure if you can convert award points into tier points since 01 January 2022.
I think the deadline to get the higher possible status is within this 2021. But maybe I'm wrong.
I'm not a specialist of this FF program

I believe the promotion is purely the bonus 200K award points and the 100k tier points.

Converting award points to tier points isn’t a promo. It’s something you can do at any time.

I just bought what my credit card could afford. I recived the confirmation email of Finnair. But neither the base points and the bonus points has been added to my account so far.
The message after the buying has a legend that says it could take even a few days.

Same for me....purchased the full 200k on 22nd December and still no points showing. Have the receipt from points.com which came through a few minutes after purchasing. I have contacted AY+ several times but still no resolution. I'm chasing every day now as I need to make an award booking for a few weeks time before the availability disappears. Very frustrating.

Not sure if the issue is with new accounts as I signed-up and immediately bought points - was that the same for you Sonny84 ?

Helsinki Flyer was your account a new one when you bought points or have you had it for some time? I wonder if this is the issue with ppl buying on new accounts. I didn't actually get my "Welcome to Finnair Plus" email until Dec 25th, 3 days after the points purchase so maybe there is the problem between accounts being fully setup and points being automaticaly credited.
