”We have to take (colleaque) Jorma home, since Tarja is going on tourist-MR for the weekend and Jorma needs to take care of their kids. Let’s get him one for all and all for one”

What the f? I'm all for getting drunk at the airport and onboard but this is unacceptable even on my standards. I'm sure there's some other explanation?!? It shouldn't be legal to let anyone onboard in that state... right?

Hahah, I remember one LIS-HEL in J back in 2010 when AY previously operated this route. My seatmate at 1C was a middle aged Finnish man who apparently was an op-up considering that all his colleagues were in the back of the bus) and was displaying all the symptoms of a very serious hangover - from his incoherent dribblings I gathered they'd been on some sort of trade fair and apparently managed to land some nice deals and had been celebrating them. His behaviour during the flight followed the exact same pattern: he'd order a G&T, down it, pass out, at some point wake up, say a few words to me (getting more and more gibberish as the flight processed, to the point that he could've been speaking Serbo-Croatian for all I knew), then order another G&T, down it, rinse and repeat for at least 6-7 times.

That was a long and somewhat funny 5 hours. Can't remember if he could walk out of the plane at HEL.
