I cannot find fare restriction for AY point upgrades. Is it applicable to any fare? :confused:

You are looking for non-existent restriction :) All cash tickets are upgradable (upgrading award tickets isn't allowed), availability is the only major limitation.

How likely is it that AY opens up more upgrade availability for a Gold on LHR-HEL in June? I'm travelling with a colleague and I didn't notice there was only one upgrade available, which I got. He is now waitlisted for an upgrade.

One related question: do tickets need to be issued by AY or can I upgrade tickets issued by TA?:confused:

As long as it is AY ticket on AY metal, yes.

Issuing airline doesn't need to be AY, as long as the leg is AY coded and operated.

I don't think so. That is the only refeemable value for the points we earn. If they devalued it away, there would be nothing left and AY fliers would change the loyalty program in a second.

I'm trying to update AY660 OSL-HEL on 3rd of Nov 2015. Availability tool doesn't even show that flight, although it shows two AY operated flights that day.

Maybe a system glitch because site says "Liikennöi muu lentoyhtiö" instead of operated by Flybe/Norra or is it too early?

Is your e-ticket on AY stock, i.e. starting with 105-?
