Which properties give access to Gold Lounge (for a fee)when staying in non-Gold Room?

I have had 2 experiences -

a) Chicago
b) Scottsdale = for a fee of $150 three years ago, I was upgraded to a Gold Suite from a non-Gold suite - I got that suite through a FPC Platinum upgrade certificate

Whoa. I've seen hotel offer an upgrade to the gold floor for a fee but not just for access to the lounge. I've never ever been offered this sort of... offer.

I've never seen it happen either. Like SAP, I've seen upgrades into a gold room which then comes with lounge access, but I've never been given gold lounge access without staying in a gold room.
