It appears that 3 weeks after copy/pastegate Forward Cabin is back on the main page....of P2B.
A demotion from BA to P2B? Or was this always P2B? I can't recall. Weblogs from Prior2Boarding take turns getting featured on the front page of BoardingArea. |
The Forward Cabin just posted a whole list of SPG Corp codes... Just wow

I don't know anything about The Forward Cabin (I've never even heard of it before), but this action makes the blogger appear to lack any semblance of ethical standards. |

:td: There's taking advantage of loopholes, and then there's promoting outright fraud. Yes, the line between the two is sometimes murky, but this is an egregious example of the latter.

Any one missing the hell out of Forward Cabin, rest easy.
I hear through the grapevine that it has not been booted from Boarding Area for blatant plagiarism, it has only received a 1-week suspension from the Boarding Area main page for a poor reaction to being caught out at blatant plagiarism. Hence the retention of the .boardingarea.com url. I've also learned that this is not the first time Forward Cabin has been accused of blatant plagiarism. It's the wild west out there, people. There are no rules. Don't forget to strap on your six-shooter! |

Absolutely correct! It seems like more and more bloggers are willing to advocate for outright fraud now.

I don't think you have anything to be sorry for koko. I'm personally all for following the letter of the rules (ignoring the spirit of said rules) but putting that sort of information out there encourages something very different IMO.

See, that's what's wrong with 'travel hacking' vs. 'FlyerTalking.' Do you try to print up your own coupons to use at the grocery store? There is a line. Lying and fraud are over that line. <shaking head slowly> FWIW, my wife is legitimately allowed to use a few corporate codes. More and more often she is required to present corporate ID at check-in. |
