He's a clown plain and simple.

I had a similar incident recently where a manic kid made for a challenging flight on Vietnam Airlines from Hanoi to Da Nang.

I like to think this Matt handled it a little bit differently than that Matt.

Sure enough, the kid screamed and bounced off the walls pretty much the entire flight.

He not only kicked my seat, he literally shook it.

The kid was jumping up and down on his seat and grabbing the back of my seat and shaking it.

He kept reaching around and slamming my window shade up and down.

It was…nuts!

I said something. Lisa said something. It was no use.

Meanwhile, other passengers were openly staring.

The man seated in the row with them found another seat before the plane even took off.

A woman across the aisle had her fingers in her ears from all the kid’s screaming (you can see her doing it in the video below!).

Although I would have been PISSED in my old life, I was zen!

Instead, I just smiled and kept telling myself that I paid $32 for this experience.

And that it may well be that the kid has special needs.

I told myself: while I had to endure this for an hour and a half, the child's parent would be dealing with it long after I got off the flight and moved on with my day.

So I am actually the LUCKY one!

Perhaps Matt Klint will gain some wisdom and humility from his handling of the situation.

You never know another person's situation. And if you have tried being direct and it doesn't work then maybe a little patience and empathy will.

Looks like our favorite blogger Matthew has now posted a new blog post about him and his wife joining the mile high club

I tried to go to liveandletfly.com and my browser flagged it down as a deceptive site.

Then I went to liveandletsfly.com and that "deceptive site" warning didn't show up.

What a weird humblebrag - with a justification that the flight attendants abandoned them so they had to do it. He must be the worst with whom to travel (I.e., ugly American masquerading as international sophisticate, etc.).

In his latest escapade, Klint charges hundreds of thousands of dollars of designer handbags on his Amex then cries when he loses the chargeback.

You never like to see someone get ripped off, but surely he would love another chance to put his wannabe lawyer skills to use.

Sad, but at least in his own words, "in law school, I specialized in contract law." It's a shame that there is more to the bar exam than just contracts.

Didn't at my law school. Other than tax law, which required a Master's in Tax after finishing your three years, I'm unaware of any "major" in law schools anywhere in the US. I guess you could take the standard contract law class that spans the entire first year and then take an upper-level class in something like government contracts and say that you "specialized" in contracts, but neither I nor any of my classmates looked at our law education that way. Of course, all the classmates I kept in touch with actually passed the bar exam, practiced law in some manner, and pretty much left their law school experiences behind by the time they turned 30.
