What's happening at the reception? Do we get a free drink ticket and appetizers?

I don't recall seeing a Friday itinerary....must have missed it.

Friday Night Reception
The Welcome Reception will be held at the Fairmont Royal York in the Upper Canada Room starting at 7pm on Oct 21st. There will be drinks and passed hors d’oeuvres courtesy of our hospitality sponsor Fairmont President’s Club and the Fairmont Royal York.
Let us know if you’d like to bring a plus one or if you have any dietary restrictions. Fairmont has provided us with a free night certificate that we’ll give away at the reception. You’ll have to be present to win!

The Friday evening reception, the conference presentations, and the amazing Sheraton post-conference reception made this Canadian Points University event a definite must-see and will be highly recommended by me to others.

Awesome event! Huge thanks to the organizers. The hospitality was amazing, though I'm still a little headachy ;)

I was very disappointed in this event. It was so packed with fun that I barely got any sleep.

In fact, I didn't even make it to bed last night (saving me a couple hundred), so I had to sleep my entire YYZ-YVR flight.

I wonder if Drunk Cargo had anything to do with your lack of sleep on the last night. LOL
