Did you apply for it as a “tourist” and did you use a hotel reservation in Switzerland that was refundable?

if you go back up to the summary page, box 4 shows 30 days if you are vaccinated with a non Swiss/EMA approved vaccine. Box 2 says vaccinate abroad authorized by EMA is 270 days.
it does appear the wording on the application portion does make it sound like 30 days for tourists but if you read the thread, no one has reported getting it and only valid for 30 days (so far). Plus once you load it into another EU app, it only reads your dose date anyways. Does anyone know why the code would expire? We all did our EUDCC the same day and the rest of us are fine. So she has a US CDC card fully vaxxed and boosted. Now I have to go back and figure out if all these countries we are visiting will accept the US CDC card: - Spain - Turkey - Greece and now she has to test before we leave since we are transiting LIS and Portugal requires testing if all you have is a US CDC card. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...9443d7e79.jpeg |

We have a big problem - one of us has her EUDCC that suddenly went expired. We all did it at the same time and this only happened to one of us.

Vaccines accepted are: AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax) and Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty); or - a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated and have received a booster dose; or - a COVID-19 recovery certificate issued at least 11 days and at most 180 days before arrival. This does not apply to passengers younger than 12 years. |

spain is reporting cdc card allowed, turkey accepts cdc card, and greece in my recollection also accepts the cdc card. the only part that is unclear is portugal because visit portugal site and timatics show differently. if you still have the "QR code" from the "expired" swisspass... scan it into another EU app and see if it still works.... done and done.

But regulations don't seem to be updated much anymore after a big flurry of relaxations about a month ago. So she may have to test for Lisbon transit. Also Spain makes you enter the country 2 different ways if you have an EUDCC or not - through the Blue Way or the Orange Way depending on what certificate you have. I do not want us to split up entering the country so if she can't get her EUDCC squared away, the 3 of us will go through the non-EUDCC Blue Way. |
