I don’t blame you, a bit like those who forget that Włoszczowa has 2 train stations, one of these on the main line between Warsaw & Kraków and with nearly every high-speed train’s service stopping there ;)

theSaladDays I think you misunderstood me - the Uber ride arrived to KTW within 5 minutes of booking it, whereas the taxi app showed 30 mins waiting time. From downtown both are readily available.

Update:

Uber out of KRK was easy and a tad cheaper than the official taxi.

Also had no issues with using Uber out of WAW (and in town as well), often got "upgraded" to Select at no extra cost :)

Actually none of Warsaw-Krakow EIP or EIC service stops at Wloszczowa.
Other services do.
Krakow does 50-60% of the train movement on this line.
