Multiple seat booking for the same passenger

Let's say I booked on two separate itineraries the same initial routing the same flights the same date: BEY-DXB, and I rocked up at the airport wanting to check in for both tickets, would the agent allow it?
So the first ticket is heading to KIX the next day, and the second ticket is SIN 3 months later.

I've asked a friend who worked at CBR and he told me they'd do it for passengers of size, but they won't issue two boarding passes, they'd only block the neighboring seat.

I'm wondering if we could potentially apply the same, so I won't have to go back to BEY twice to catch the next ticket to SIN.

Please share your experience too, if you've had one

A fairly plus sized friend has done that before, but that was in the US. Gaining 100lbs to do it would be a waste. What if you had a seemingly legitimate medical reason for this? Arm is a sling? Sprained leg?

Keep us posted, this should be interesting.

Yeah, I think if I was to follow the medical route it would even be harder to prove since I will be flying in F.

What about using 2 check-in agents, then giving both passes at the boarding gate, just make sure its really busy, until they do a head count I guess!

Better even:

According to the Skywards website a reward BEY-KIX costs:

70k in Y
140k in C

So since 2xY=1xC, you should do as per the above, and then at the gate exchange 2 BPs in Y for 1 BP in C... so at least there won't be a problem with the head count.

I wish you good luck, although I seriously doubt your trick will work.

Just make sure you're not being blacklisted !!

Since this can be done, the next question is: will EK credit miles for both itineraries?

I would leave your skywards number off ONE of the bookings - then add it later when you have completed ALL itineraries! maybe leave it off the one you will complete first!

The whole point out of this is to earn miles to stay in Gold for next year.
I don't think EK would mind, since I will be paying for two seats. There is nothing in the terms and conditions that states that I can not double earn for flying two tickets.

And how would I earn those precious miles then?

I would just do it as "claim missing miles" when you get back! Just for the sack of any confusion on their part!

At what point in BEY do they check BP's and Passports at the same time, even if in Transit, assuming you are doing an MR from BEY.

Could you not treat someone to a trip to BEY airport (they would have to like you lots or be really Geeky), then they just go back to DXB with you on the flight under your name!

name on itinerary much match the name on a government issued photo id, thats verified at checkin and at the gate. This information is routinely shared by airlines and nations thanks to events in the past, APIS. ^

And this is the reason why swapping passports ( if you have two ) on the plane can lead to some very interesting questions from immigration at the destination
