Points not being Debited

Hello,

In April, booked/flew a Y ticket AKL-SYD and upgraded to J using Skywards points.

Not having thought about it, recently checked my account, and saw that not only the points had not been debited from my account, but I gained J points for the AKL-SYD flight.

Is this the norm, and will they be debited later on, or did I get lucky?

Anyone know what "Emirates CASA Goodwill Miles" on the skywards statment is?
They credited some miles , not sure if this is a result of a complaint ... because I never got an email from them. and the complaint was made a lloooonnnngggg time ago.

Usually the goodwill miles are credited as a result of a complaint. That's my experience with them at least.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH What did you complain about and how many miles did you get??

I was told once by the Senior FA to write to EK concerning my screen not working in J, the flight was full and I could not be moved anywhere else, I got 25'000 miles!

10,000 and iirc it was about non existent meal service. The flight was delayed and they insisted on starting the meal service two hours in to a six hour flight. The plane took off at 0217 ... was told eat when they serve or STFU. The whole point of J is to sleep, not stay up in the middle of the night to eat. Oh and they were serving breakfast.... rather than starting mean service 2 hours before landing at DXB.
It as the A380, and since then I avoid J on that plane. Nothing like waiting an etertinity for food / drink
