The switch of flights to Terminal 3 continues to progress. Phase 3 (European flights) is set to commence at 14.30 on Tuesday 28th October.

Does anyone know when flights to and from the far east will you terminal 3?

Was there yesterday. DXB-CPT now departing using Terminal 3. For those looking for a quieter place overnight, T3 is far superior to T1 and T2 as there are fewer flights at present and far less people about (in fact, plenty of free seat and recliners) as it is pretty far from T1 and T2. Also, much quieter at night as the announcements of T1 and T2 cannot be heard - you only get the half-hourly general security messages at present as very few flights depart during the small hours - probably will change in the future. T3 shopping variety and general aesthetics are also far superior to T1 and T2.

Has a date been set for phase 4?

My flight from HAM on 14th November arrives at T3, but info on my flight to CMB on 15th is mixed. "Manage a Booking" says T3 - "Check Your Terminal" says T1.

Are all T3 arrivals/departures direct to/from the terminal? or are EK using buses at T3?

Lounges have not yet been updated on EK and Skywards websites. Is there a Silver member lounge in T3?

The first departures will be:

EK584 DXB-DAC DEP 1315
EK502 DXB-BOM DEP 1320

After the completion of this phase, all Emirates flights will have switched over to T3.

How do I book the hotel in T3? Any experience?
 

Next month, I arrive & depart T3 and have roughly a 7-hr layover between 1am to 8am. I don't feel like leaving the terminal to stay in a hotel in Dubai (the last time I did something like that, I only managed 3 hours of sleep) so I was thinking of trying out the new airport hotel in T3.

The EK website describes the hotel as quite posh but really, I don't mind if the rooms are like those Japanese pod hotels & affordable. I can get into the J lounge but I won't sleep with all the announcements ringing through the terminal all night :p

I can't find the site to book a room, can anyone help share their experience & direct me to the hotel's website?
