Jfk Update
Just checked in for the 11. 20am flight to Dubai and sure enough, got the $55 voucher. The gentlemen at check in said the lounge is "scheduled" to open tomorrow but it isn't guaranteed.
Best of luck to everyone flying tomorrow and afterwards, hopefully the wait was at least somewhat worth it. (though after this long, that seems impossible)

Exactly what the check-in staff informed me after handing the $40 voucher. They are still awaiting "TSA" clearance for the lounge and while they do expect the Lounge to open 'soon', they cannot confirm the date because the TSA clearance has not come through. Fingers crossed that it opens - we should know in the next several hours.

Right. Food and drinks kind of look the same as before. But again, it has one of the best selections among all of the EK lounges, so that is a good thing. Pity, I will get to visit it mostly for breakfast given I fly out on 204 almost always
