When checking in online, does the airline make the emergency exit rows availible?

Also what do you do with luggage?

No, exit rows are only available at airport check-in. The check-in staff have to confirm that you are able bodied, and that you wil be willing to help in an emergency.

If you do an on-line check-in, there should be a 'fast bag drop' desk. This seems, however, to be inconsistent between airports.

My query is similar to the OP.

Are the seats at the very back of the plane made available at OLCI? I’m flying on a Boeing 777 and would like the very rear seats in Economy where the three seats each side become two seats as the fuselage tapers. When I called Emirates I was told they were for travellers requiring special assistance and I would have to ask for them at the airport.

I checked in online yesterday and the last rows (fewer seats per row) have been available but it was on another type of aircraft, not triple 7 but airbus 330.
