According to Seat Guru it does

Quote: Emirates now offers wireless internet for a fee on this [A340-500] aircraft only.
I thought they offered the opportunity to send text messages and emails only?

Cheers

It has been several months since I was on the A345 but it was still text messages and emails only then. Also, the wireless signal was able to be seen but it did not work. I could connect but it was not functional. I had to use the wired port to actually connect.

It had been that way for sometime and doubt it has changed although I would love to hear from someone that has flown the aircraft recently and could say otherwise.

No internet, just the Tenzing e-mail system, which imho really really blows.
