EK39/40
Hi, I'm on EK40 from BHXDXB in Jan and wondered if I can expect a better hard product than when I took the same flight in Jan of this year? It was a "sleeperette" (as in you only get a little sleep!). I tend to fly BA and haven't come across such an old style J offering for a while. Have things changed in the last 12months and are there images hidden away on a post somewhere? It is a 2 class 777-300ER.
Thanks! |
Both previous posters can use the "See what's on your flight" tab, that is on the home page of emirates.com, to determine what seating is currently projected for their flights. No guarantee necessarily but a pretty good indicator and not often wrong overall.
Specifically with regards to EK40 you can expect the old style "sleeperettes which have been slightly blinged up in the last year or two in many cases but still the same basic reclining seat with legrest. A bone of contention for many of us who spend a lot of time in them ... |

A380 - which seat map do I believe?
Flying SYD-AKL-SYD, out in Y, back in C.
Looking at seatmaps online, http://seatexpert.com/seatmap/397/Emirates_Airbus_A380/ has a seat infront of 68K. but http://www.airreview.com/Seatmap/Emi...A380/index.htm not only doesn't - it also has a picture of the seat, with nothing in front? Same for 23K on the return: Airreview says there is extra legroom - shows a picture of the cubbyhold for your legs. Seatexpert knows nothing. Are these good seats? |

I'm on the 777-300ER from DXB to KHI somewhere soon, chose 46A-B although seatguru is flagging the seats. However I am travelling with a colleague and since the flight is only 2hrs I thought it would be OK - am I correct?

46B/J v 47B/J on 777-300ER (with suites)
Is the misalignment with the row in front significant for row 46? Are traytables and PTVs in the armrest or seat in front of you? I was leaning towards 46 because I think having that "space" behind 45H will be useful for storing my carry on and stretching my legs (at an angle). However, I can easily switch to row 47. I will ask for an exit but i think I'd prefer more width to more legroom especially on the B777 which already has narrow seats!
Thanks! |

Seatmap for seat selection shows a First section. Does this mean there will be F or will J passengers be moved up? What could I expect in the F section?
The seat map only shows the class you're in but has the words "First Class" to the left hand side whether there is a First cabin available or not. |

It starts at row 6. I'm in 9 - only other option further forward is row 6 (bassinet). Should I stay where I am?
