Has Emirates started installing the ICE entertainment system on their Boeing 777 / Airbus A330's?

http://www.airlinequality.com/Spcl/flt_chk_295.htm

Mabye it was a mistake... Just wondering

Thanks

In their timetable, they say that they are removing 1 row of seats from the B777-200. Could this change be anything to do with the "ICE" installation?

Thanks

Agree this must be a mistake. I fly emirates at least twice a month and the 330's and 777's have the same old system on board. I have several good friends, who work for Emirates, and they state the ICE system will only re-appear on the soon to be delivered 777ER's and the A340-600's....and beyond. I have heard however, that older aircrafct are being updated but not to the same spec. as the 345's. Strange.

My other half flew BHX-DXB-BHX in J back in Nov. Plane was a 772 & it had the ICE entertainment system.

I have flown on a 773 that has had a refurb as you mention but it was not upto the 345 spec & did not have ICE.

Yes, I stand to be corrected ! Appears they are busy putting ICE onto the 777-200. Shame they can't improve the seats ! Existing Emirates business class seats are really a poor show compared to BA, Cathay and Singapore etc. and to be honest, the A345 seats are not much of an improvement either.
