Has Emirates some partnerships with other companies, ie United or Delta ? I am about to fly CDG-MEL with them, and I'd rather collect miles on my UA or DL programs than Skywards miles that I am unlikely to need later on ?

You can earn miles into your UA mileage plus account when flying Emirates.
You will get 100% of the mileage.
Some friends have done this several times and never had a problem.

I'm not sure about DL, but they have an agreement with CO. I would check CO's website for all the details.

I'm not sure if there's a more direct way to see all the EK partners, but when you book on their web site you eventually get to a drop-down list where you can choose which FF program you want to use. It's a short list.

Just towards total miles.

Miles towards EQM (UA) you will get only from Star Alliance partners.
