As before, what do you mean by the "old" seats as there are several versions. And in your previous post it was an A380. Look at what's flying currently and use that as your guideline.

And where is CPT ?
JNB now 2x 380 and 1x 77W daily.
Three 77W flight a day, why no 380 ? Even much smaller airports (in other countries than ZA even the tiny MRU) are served by a 380 by EK.

I don’t think CPT cannot accommodate A380. Would love to be wrong as it’s one of my main EK airports!

CPT has 2 daily 77W flight a day, not three.

Correct. It was three daily for a few years but EK 778/9 was cancelled already a few years before Covid.

The two daily flights to PEK have been downgraded to B77W.
Also one of the two daily flights to PVG.

What makes you think that? According to the EK website it's still A380 until and including 29/3/24

It’s been 77W for a while, just look at EK11’s history on flightradar24

Seems to be a chop and change in the coming months. I checked the EK website for a few relatively random dates and it's sometimes 77W and sometimes A380.
Haven't got EF active at the moment so a bit slow to check systematically.

I was on it last week!

Regardless of what EK is selling it as, seems to be 77W when it comes off the blocks.

I do apologise, I thought I had provided an update on EK11, but looking back at my posts it slipped my updates...

EK11 back to the 380 from Feb 1 through Mar 30
EK11 back to the 77W from Mar 31 through Jul 31

Between Jun 1 and Jul 31 it's operated by the 'game changer' new F aircraft.

Ijones027 Jan 19, 2024 12:00 am

I'm seeing mxp to jfk is getting a380 on Feb 1st
