Montreal Flight

Was looking at Montreal to DXB in november. Skywards had awards seat in F available two days ago, but now even with cash its J only. Aeroplan still shows F available but for 440k aeroplan points. Anyone have a clue wants going on here? Is it actually sold out?

I doubt anyone will know here. Have you called and asked emirates?

Other FTers have indicated Emirates is notorious for only releasing one F award early in the reservation window, and then unpredictably releasing more inventory, sometimes nothing more until sometime within the T-30 window, and sometimes not until departure date. It is not unreasonable to assume the Skywards award seats were either grabbed by another px or EK sold a rev tkt(s) thereby indicating a bump in demand and the inventory got pulled. It's striking to me though, that you can find inventory (albeit at a very high redemption rate) via aeroplan at this juncture. Good luck!

Sounds like EK have zeroed out F which could mean it could be moving to a two class plane or maybe they're just tinkering with something and it'll be back in a few days. That doesn't mean the reward seats will come back though.

I got lucky. I grabbed an Emirates seat F class YYZ-DXB in early October for 272,000 points on Aeroplan (one way). Air Canada is charging 270,000 points for its very mediocre business class.

Route has been downgraded to a B77L as of 29 October. No F seats.
