1A/2A is better than 1K/2K. And ultimately 2A is the best seat.

Reason is that in the galley is in-front of the K seats where they prepare all the food so it does get a bit noisy. Also, You can walk to toilet without passing by anyone. As for why 2A is better than 1A, the reason is that less traffic on that side, it is also the best seat on the new 777.

Another tip is ask for pajamas once you are on board, get bigger size than yours as it is much comfier. I am a Medium but I wear Large on board and love it as it is more of a loungewear as well. Reason why you ask for it immediately as sometimes they run out of the size you're looking for.

Last but not least, just enjoy the flight. Nothing beats Emirates First class.

Someone mentioned reserving a spa treatment above. I have missed out twice recently due to 2.10 transit time. I have slightly longer this week and am keen to not miss out again…. How do reserve a treatment please? I tried looking and couldn’t see anything.

My tip is to read up on what your ticket entitles you to! It can be easy to miss out on certain perks. Also worth watching some vlogs.

Make sure you get your amenity bag. Most times they’ve been provided on the seats, but last time it wasn’t and I had to ask. After they said they weren’t sure if they had any, they managed to find one!

With respect to the food, read the menu beforehand. If some of the cuisine is unfamiliar but sounds nice, read up on how to best enjoy it! Even with caviar, there’s a way to put everything together, with the correct cutlery and savour the flavour of the caviar itself.

Also read up on the drinks available - alcoholic and some hot drinks especially, it’s a nice opportunity to try some different things. If you like cognac, make sure you ask for the Paradis. Last time I requested “more Hennessy” after having the Paradis, it was poured out of sight in the galley. When I tasted it, it was clearly XO and I had to ask specifically for Paradis!

Main thing is to enjoy, it is a fantastic experience!
