Not sure what you mean by "the customer service is rubbish". Are you saying that the service on the B777 is not as good as the A380? From reading this forum, I'd say the most people think the opposite.

I suspect (though could be wholly mistaken) that the poster was referencing the ‘degraded’ service / catering levels experienced by some travellers during Covid-restricted flight operations ...... and on that basis, it wouldn’t matter which a/c was used.

But I do agree with your point that - in the eyes of most EK users - the smaller capacity 777 can (in normal times), offer a more personalised service than the A380.
