Emirates 777ER 32" screens is 'some' first class cabins ?

Hi All,

Just wanting to know is there a way to tell if you will be flying on a EK 777ER with 32" screens in first class?
Also are they going to refurb all the EK 777ER's with the 32" screens with the planes keeping the 1-2-1 layout ?

Cheers.

A6-EPA and later deliveries should have the 32" screens. There are no plans to refurb any 77W. Curious why this is of importance to you?

Geeky curiousity as I may be flying on this type of bird in the near future.
Seen reviews of the 777ER first and some seats look a bit tired, as in worn leather. Wish they all used cloth as it breathes better and hides superficial damage better.
Leather been luxury is very 1980’s..

Thanks for your update..

Haha true. EK has for a long time had a very old school version of luxury i.e. gold trim and faux wood panels.

If you let us know your flight info, might be able to shed more light on which type of 77W as some routes see certain types more than others.

Not a terrible trade off. For future reference that route almost always has the 32" screen in F and the new J seats.

Latest ICE Digital Widescreen / 32" TV in 1st ?

Hi,

I am wanting to find out which EK A380's have the 32" screen in 1st ?

They have them on the new planes (+\- three years old or younger), but is there a list of aircraft registrations where you can check ?

Thanks in advance.

EOQ being the first one was reported on here at the time, and the timing of deliveries and press releases supports it (Deliveries from Sep 2015). What makes you think otherwise?

All A6-EU* will have them as they came after A6-EO*.

A6-EDA to A6-EEE have the old system (1st generation ) F fitout with 23" screen - 31 A380s.

A6-EEF to A6-EOO have 2nd generation F fitout with 27" screen - 36 A380s.

A6-EOT to A6-EOW, A6-EOZ to A6-EUM, A6-EUR to A6-EUW and A6-EVB to A6-EVL (??? )have 3rd generation F fitout with 32" screen - about 35 A380s. Not sure if all units A6-EVB and later have F cabins, hence the question marks.

I started at EOQ as that was when the changes were introduced, which also included 13.3 inch screens in Economy. You rightly say EOT to answer the OP as EOQ to EOS are 2 Class frames.
