I'm also looking at my first F experience with EK. One Of the cheapest, if not the cheapest, I can see from Europe is BRU-HKG for about 4k euro. Most other Europe flights are nearer 5k.
But i guess there might be sales I don't know. In any case I can't afford to buy it till August or September so I'm hoping it'll c still be there.

Edit : you get the new 77W Suites plus the option to mix it up to a 380 on the second leg.

How about answers per routing stated in $/miles ?

I think $ per flying hour is a better way to measure it, as distance might not always correlate to length. Also important to factor in: amenity kit and pajama availability + aircraft type + F version.

So best value might be BRU-AKL on 77W new F + A380, if found for a good price. or something ridiculous like EZE-DXB-ICN

A potential fix for that was given to you in the newbie thread last week.

The OP is not asking for 'good value' (which indeed is in the eye of the beholder), but for the best value of a First Class ticket on EK. Probably because he wants to experience EK F class.
Why you continue to try to convince us that the OP should look at J tickets on another airline baffles me TBH.

Not surprising considering the poster.

I have an outstanding ticket from canada-lax-dxb-mxp RT in F for $3700.
46hours in F or $80/hour in F.
My brother in law thinks I am nuts for taking a detour to go to mxp since my time is worth more than $80/hour. Maybe he has a point. Adding more than a day detour is expensive.

How about DXB-CMB (and route through MLE there and back on EK652/653) - $2100 round trip, for around 13 hours in total in a First Suite.

Nice idea alright but i don't want to get into debt to the tune of 2F flights. I will just hope the pricing remains the same and book in September to maybe fly in November.
Can only get 0% cc here for 6 months plus it would involve going through an application process.

That's strange logic. I assume you are travelling anyway. So you would have to look at the additional time and expense of flying in a different cabin and along a different route. Plus you need to consider if you would actually work (at $ XXX per hour) during the additional travel time.

Having said that, $80 per flying hour is excellent value in my book. I spend a bit more than that for CPT / Europe in J! And CPT / Europe in F is in the order of $120 per hour (flying time).

The OP's reference a detour and the routing are the hint. Presumably they could fly Canada-MXP more direct than via DXB. Agreed that not all hours would be billable

I don't think it's that strange. You have to spend time and money for position flights. Outbound will cost you a day of work. Inbound, another day.
From West Coast to MXP is 16 hours on BA. Going this route, it takes like 30 hours, not counting position.
Coming back, same story.

I used to take the CMB fares whenever I go to asia, when EK suite was a novelty. Now, it's harder to justify flying 2 extra days for EK F.

qupasyd just posted a $3,695 ALG-DXB-GIG-EZE roundtrip fare in the Premium Fare Deals thread.
48+ hours of EK First for around $77 an hour.
