to clarify, booking code = fare construction usually at the end of the eticket, not the PNR reference :D

Ok, I will have a look at it.
I have just a reservation but ticket is not yet issued by AMEX

So, booked the ticket.
AMEX says fully refundable, changeable and so on.
Booking class is I (like India)
Is it Flex or Flex Plus?

Doesn't MMB on the Emirates website show this? (Flex/Flex Plus)

Not yet, I think because tkt has not been issued yet

So, now ticket has been issued. MMB shows Flex (not Flex Plug) and says I will earn 15,750 Tier Miles.
I have now 32175 Tier Miles, so I will not become Gold :(

I set the alert to notify me if upgrade (with miles) is available

Upgrade with miles won't help. See if calling EK they let you pay the difference to upgrade to a Flex Plus fare if it's worth that much to you

This is a Business Trip booked by my employer through AMEX, it is not possible to upgrade it so simply :(
The upgrade with miles was just to try the first class, not to reach gold :D

Would your employer not allow you to pay the difference to a Flex Plus by calling Amex?

But you are almost 18000 miles short of being Gold. Surely the difference between Flex and Flex+ is not that many tier miles? Or am I missing something here?

Edit: yes, I’m missing something. 18000 miles short BEFORE this flight. Duh!

Four years ago, when I begun flying EK, they granted me Gold while 750 miles short.
But, it was fours years ago (when Gold used to get welcome gifts), and I always have more than two trips booked.
