Correct at the moment, previously was not the case

Yes, this happened to me, the immigration officer put the sticker on my PP, but it was not actually registered. During my last trip, this was remedied, and I was able to use the Smart Gate the following day.

On this thread and others I seem to be getting mixed answers. As a US passport holder originally registered with DXB smartgate, can I use smartgate at all airports in the country (Sharjah, DWC, AUH and DXB)?

Looks like the only way to know this for sure is to try it yourself. The worst that can happen is it doesn't work.

Though from various posts it does look like they are linking all kingdoms' systems.
