Emirates app

Is anyone else having trouble with the app or is it just a glitch on my iPad? It just won't load. I've tried deleted & reinstalling it, but no luck. I realise this is a technical rather than a travel question but thought it might just be Emirates updating the app or something

It's working for me on i-phone and i-pad.

App is working for me also. Suggest you close all other apps, hard restart and try again. Good Luck!

Have had this same problem several times on iPod touch. App upgrade fixed the problem (when available). I don't think there's something you can do but wait. Maybe device reboot?

I'll reboot later. The app is working on my iPhone, but the iPad app is more user friendly.

Is it just me or has the live boarding pass feature been removed from the mobile app?

There is still no Emirates App for Windows 10 (Mobile and PC). What a shame.

Lol... I don't think there will be anytime soon, given the cost cutting and presumably marginal user base.

There's the full and mobile websites. Forgive my ignorance, but what else would an app give?

Well the app saves your login and is much quicker to access your bookings/trips than the websites.

I never tick "Remember Me" boxes, and I'm never in that much of a hurry, so if that's all then it seems fine to me if they forget about it.

Six months ago Windows 10 had already over 350 Million active user. I don't think it's a "marginal user base".
A Windows 10 App could be much faster than using the website and also could give Extras like a Live-Title in the Start-Menu and Support for Cortana.

I was referring to Windows Mobile re small user base. Many use Win10 but I guarantee you few use actual native apps and even fewer use or even know what Cortana is.

It'd be nice but in the current cost cutting environment and given all the other systems to maintain I just can't see it being given any priority.

Doesn't it also double up as your boarding pass ?

Yes, on routes where mobile BPs are available (they sometimes aren't, due to legal/document requirements)
