Only issue was flying Y and boarding from the lounge as they didnt open the gate until later so could only take the last bus
So, is there still direct boarding from lounge when using a bus gate? How does that work - lounge to bus?

The gate elevator takes you to the bus boarding area, where you will have the appropriate bus waiting.
