When to request assistance?
 

Elderly parents are flying in J, CCU to IAD and return. Both are not as mobile, and I am trying to figure out if I should ask for assistance for them in Dubai/IAD - in Dubai, to take them to the lounge and back; and IAD to get to us.

Should we put in the request now, or is this something that they can let the agent know while checking in?

Call up EK and have it inserted into the booking - you don't want to turn up to the airport and there to be a long wait for WCHR!

Send a tweet to @EmiratesSupport and once they follow you send a DM with booking ref and names. Did it few months ago for my grandparents. They're really good at responding quickly.
